About Us Omaha Electric Service, Inc. is a full service electrical contracting company. We are capable of start to finish work, remodels and maintenance for any residential, industrial, or commercial needs. We are capable of bidding and performing any size project up to, and including, electrical projects in excess of $8 million.

Omaha Electric Service began with two electricians in 1987 and is currently staffed with over 70 employees. In the past years, OESI has grown to become very well established and financially secure, gaining over $1,000,000 worth of assets. We have a substantial line of credit to handle any project.

Projects we have completed include The Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall in Gretna, the Council Bluffs Library, St. Pat's Church in Fremont, The National Park Service Building on the new riverfront, the Nebraska Orthopedic Hospital, the Chiller Plant for Energy Systems for the Qwest Center, and the Bank of the West Technical Center.

Our Data/Telecommunications division offers installation or restoration of voice or data cabling. This service is extremely beneficial when networking computer or voice systems together and when the need to add more computers or phones arises. Omaha Electric is certified to install AMP & LEVITON Systems, which include a 25-year warranty. All technicians are trained according to BICSI regulations. We are able to test & certify old and new cabling as well as provide you with a printout of the results.

Some of OESI's notable cabling projects include work for OPPD's energy plaza remodel, UNO's 8000 ft. fiber cable installation, and Iowa Western Community College's phone system cabling between 5 different buildings, complete cabling for the Nebraska Orthopedic Hospital as well as both Miller Park and Beal's Elementary Schools.

We offer 24 hour service with 15 of our 60 company vehicles strategically placed throughout the Metro so our electricians are able to report to a truck within an hour to respond to your emergency.

We also have a Material Tracking System for unavailable materials to ensure knowledge of where orders are & when they will be in so we can complete each job by the allocated time.
We hold weekly Safety reviews as well as company safety meetings once a month. We are strict about following or adhering to all OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) and MSDS (Material Safety and Data Sheets) safety regulations.

We provide monthly drive by inspections of Parking Lot Lighting at no cost to the customer.

We offer Auto CAD drawings which are computer drafts detailing specific ID of fixtures so you can tell us exactly where a problem is, allowing us to respond accordingly.
